Amelie is in the kitchen
@amelieisinthekitchen began as a way to document my love of baking, cooking, and food photography outside of my design work. What started as a personal creative outlet quickly became a space to experiment with visual storytelling through food—styling and photographing finished dishes, sharing glimpses of the process behind them, and exploring the intersection of food and design.
In February 2026, I had my first opportunity to bring the project into the physical world through a one-day pop-up in collaboration with Anaïs Wine Bar in Boerum Hill, where I developed, produced, and sold a menu of baked goods.
The work featured here reflects my interest in creating thoughtful, visually driven experiences through food, and highlights the ways in which my design practice extends beyond traditional graphic design.
In my free time, I love creating elaborate dishes and capturing their beauty for my bake-stagram :)
