L’Alliance New York
For the past year, I have been a Graphic Designer at L’Alliance New York, a cultural institution I have long admired and felt connected to through my experience attending a French school in New York City. L’Alliance's programming spans language education, film, exhibitions, cultural events, and early childhood education, and designing across these initiatives challenged me to create work for diverse audiences while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
Throughout my contract, I’ve gained valuable experience working within an established brand system and learned how to balance consistency with creative problem-solving. The projects featured here were created under the guidance of L’Alliance New York’s Art Director, Anne Saboye, whose mentorship played an important role in my growth as a designer. L’Alliance’s master brand identity was designed by Pentagram.

L’Alliance New York’s Comic Arts Fest is a three-day celebration of comics, graphic novels, and visual storytelling, bringing together internationally acclaimed artists and illustrators for conversations, masterclasses, screenings, book signings, and workshops. Curated by publisher Rodolphe Lachat, the 2026 edition featured artists including Charles Burns, Elene Usdin, Felipe Smith, Julie Rocheleau, and Benjamin Lacombe, with events held across L’Alliance New York and the Society of Illustrators.
As part of L’Alliance’s design team, I developed promotional materials for the festival, helping bring its playful, illustration-driven identity to life across print and digital formats.

For over 20 years, L’Alliance New York has hosted the city’s largest public celebration of Bastille Day, welcoming over 60,000 attendees in 2026. Spanning several blocks of Madison Avenue, the annual festival brings French culture to the streets of Manhattan through live performances, food, music, film, and family-friendly activities.
For the 2026 celebration, I designed a range of print materials, including promotional postcards, event signage, wayfinding, tickets, and badges, helping create a cohesive visual experience across the festival’s many activities and spaces. I also photographed the event, documenting the festivities and the designs in use.
